Why credit graduate programs in project management at universities?

This is useful for prospective employers. Students coming out of the accredited programs will have a baggage of knowledge, skills and experience that is immediately quantifiable to a hiring executive.

Regardless of their effectiveness, these are all designations or titles that help employers or others know the person a little bit more. For this specific one, I agree with Stephane.
