I am based in Nigeria, I need a mentor in order to pass my PMP Exam, kindly assist in making my dream come true. How do I go about this? Saving Changes...
Some local chapters have mentors that help the aspirants to the certification. I highly recommend you to join the project chapter.
I was hoping to join after my certifications. I have acquired the 35 hours of contact, application for exam is approved. I only require a mentor anywhere in the world to help me pass the exam.
Hi again Rahmat, some more that I can give from my personal experience of the exam is:
When reading the PMBOK, the language used in the material is essential.
The exam contains the type of multi-choice questions where one key word in the question can change the meaning of the question entirely. Your reading skills will be tested as well as your knowledge of the material. Understanding is key. It won't be enough to memorise flowcharts (but it is useful as a study aide) and it is essential to really be able to "speak the language" of the PMBOK Guide confidently.
Practise tests (sample questions from actual PMP exams) will show you early on what you can expect from the exam. These are critical. Do some of these earlier rather than later, so that you can judge how close you are to understanding how you're expected to think when choosing the correct answer.
