Have you used/heard of TrainerKart for PMP exam qualifying 35 hours of training?

Hi! I'm hoping to get my "official" 35 hours of certified training this year so I can get certified as a PMP, and I've been looking at www.trainerkart.com as a source for the coursework. I called PMI and they aren't registered as a trainer, but there are many qualifying trainers that are not.

They have a self-driven option for $249 where you get to keep all the course materials, including the 30+ hours of video instruction, and includes the 35-hour certificate I need to apply for the exam.

However, there are several things about how their site and service is set up that raise yellow flags for me, but it might just be poorly designed.

Before I give them any money I was hoping to get a real person's experience with them. Have you heard of them? Good/bad/anything at all?

Thank you!

(I apologize if this is in the wrong discussion, but it seemed to fit best for my question.)

Hey Chris, all the best on your PMP certification. There have been various discussions around a few bad apples. I don't remember trainerkart being one of them. Hopefully, someone in this community used them successfully before.

The best thing to do is shortlist the trainers which are listed by PMI.

I would suggest to check with the local PMI chapter and use their help to shortlist. It did help me as they had a session running for PMP certification and it costed far less than what others charge.

I had signed up and kept getting last-minute information. I had to push for the onsite location 2 days before the training; being in Los Angeles, it is essential to plan. Turns out it is one hell of a commute. They never responded with their "delivery team" email that was supposed to arrive. By pushing, the rep finally provided an address. Very unprofessional with communications; other than a date for a PMP course, their planning is far less than even adequate. I am in the process of canceling to find a professionally run organization.  In dealing with the rep "Frank" it was clear it was sub-contracted training.  He had no details until he had to go check.
