I just passed my CAPM and I am already working as a project manager. What can I do to implement this knowledge and what can I expect for the future of my career?

If you are working as a PM then you must have been implementing what you’ve learned but you can now start comparing if there is anything you can do better in the different project phases.

As for you career, PMP would help better put you ahead of the crowd. Not sure why you chose to do CAPM while you are working as PM and have experience. Maybe this should be your next step.

Good Luck Emily.

Two areas I would pursue: PMP® Certification, as Rami stated, and hook-up with a mentor. On the latter, start with your local PMI Chapter.

Remember a key principle is tailoring, so don't rush to start implementing. Analyze the culture of the organization, identify the key player (stakeholders, supporters, etc) and go with the basics first. Remember they don't by methodology, they buy results. So focus on them.
