If you are working as a PM then you must have been implementing what you’ve learned but you can now start comparing if there is anything you can do better in the different project phases.
As for you career, PMP would help better put you ahead of the crowd. Not sure why you chose to do CAPM while you are working as PM and have experience. Maybe this should be your next step.

Remember a key principle is tailoring, so don't rush to start implementing. Analyze the culture of the organization, identify the key player (stakeholders, supporters, etc) and go with the basics first. Remember they don't by methodology, they buy results. So focus on them. Saving Changes...
