What is best for Startup Projects

I am always confused about what methodology should one use for startup projects. Any startup client would have a mix of requirements, that is fix budget with lots of changes requires on beta testing or beta implementation.

I am basically concerned for the web portal projects, where we have multiple startup requirements and all of them have some fixed budget and timeline with anticipated future changes.

Mostly I prefer some hybrid way of work instead of sticking to anyone, though would like to hear your thoughts on what is better?

No formal method in this type of initiatives can be used. I was part of the group that worked on the startup of a platform that today is "the facto standard" for anything which is mobile. You have to put focus on strategy first. If you only have knowledge of a set of features and you need to get more then create a prototype, put it on line, and get feedback. Then respond to feedback creating continue releases. You can say "this is agile based development" and I could say "yes" but this method of work is there from 1990 before Agile based method exists. First of all remember: you have to define "client", "value" and "quality" and after that go for it.

I consider valid question to tslk about start up and entreprenurial efforts more broadly thank agile. Some philosophies are applicable and the starup and entreprenurial efforts need to consider product matket buyer competitors in fact the 5 forces defined for these endevours
