I don’t think so as OPM has been there for a while and part of it is tackled in Portfolio Management as well but maybe in the future they will have a new certification, however, nothing mentioned as of now. Saving Changes...

OPM3, in my opinion had a different purpose.
The current strategic orientation of PMI points towards the qualification of professionals.

PMI had OPM 3 based certified assessors a few years back but that program fell by the wayside.
At this point I wouldn't see them reintroducing it but let's see if there are any announcements coming out of the global conference related to that...

My view is that, nothing is impossible, if we as project,program or portfolio managers fail to strategically influence our organizations , then PMI may have to create a certification for it, probably for the C-level guys. ...This is just my opinion, PMI may create the certification for other reasons, which I believe will be critiqued.
