As a starter, which important information, tools, templates and knowledge areas in project management do I need to run a joinery company successfully.

I'd suggest taking a foundational course in project management as it would help you better understand how you would tailor your approach the needs of your industry and the specific context of the projects you manage.

For example, while tools like a charter are a good practice, the content of those really depends on the above factors.

In line with Kiron, start with fundamentals to create a strong foundation, then build on from there. Learn and adapt based on your situation and surroundings. Increase your knowledge base as you progress in your career. One can only digest so much information in so much time. The more that resonates, the more one can absorb.

Additionally, don't discount the importance of the human element, as in relationship building. This is also an area that should be focused on, though a bit less book and more experience based.

Dear Valerie
Your question is very interesting
Thanks for sharing

The path is made by walking.
Nevertheless, you need to start at the beginning.
And the best way to do this is to attend project management training on fundamentals.

The general project management principles will still apply, no matter the industry.
