As I looked back on this same question last year, I obtained a number of Professional Designations and though I was a CAPM, I was eager to embark on the PMP and build my brand as I continued my Career Pivot.

This year I obtained the PMP, led a Volunteer effort with my local PMI Chapter and was even published with articles around Project Management.

I'm still going to earn 1 or 2 professional designations this year, but haven't decided upon which. It depends on the choices made and which will benefit the most. I want to see the Program we began with the Chapter to the end and would like to transition from the start up company I am with to a larger and more established firm with even more growth opportunities.

Along the way, I will finish two books per month and dedicate an hour towards learning each day and track the results.

That's very ambitious that you are aiming towards one or two designations this year given one one week is left. Good Luck !
