During 2019 I've learned some important lessons as a PM, a leader and as a person.

What were the your lessons learned?

We (project managers) are curious individuals and continuous learners - to stop and think about our strengths and weaknesses is critical to us. Workshops, training, mentoring are great examples of how to enhance and to cultivate our expertise. When everything is changing around us, we cannot stay the same.
I couldn't agree with you more, Joao.

Hi Lori,

I was just reading your reply with a smile in my face visualizing a PM as performing "Lord of the Dance" or the "Nutcracker"... :)

Never missing a beat, constantly learning and sharing is required of most of us. Your words remind me of "Take more chances, dance more dances", because only when we get out of our confort zone we get in the learning zone :)

Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

I learned that clients place a high value on a PM’s ability to demonstrate flexibility. The most positive feedback received from a client in 2019 was that I was able to pivot swiftly to accommodate the client’s schedule, rearranging meetings and agenda topics on short notice as needed.

Good one, Gail!

I believe that flexibility is key in this ever-changing world.
Floyd Mayweather Jr. said that "a true champion adapts to anything" and Stephen Hawking stated that "intelligence is the ability to adapt to change".
Your client's praise of you is well deserved. Congratulations!

Hi Shahram,

Nice feedback.
Keep improving your tool belt and sharpening your tools seems very relevant in a highly demanding marketplace/world.
