Two Questions on the PMO

Hi All!
My two questions are as follows:
(1) Is the term "Project Management Office" or the letters "PMO" a registered mark of PMI? In other words do we see PMO® or Project Management Office®?
(2) Should the head of a PMO in a midsized to large corporation be PMI certified as either a PMP®, a PgMP® or a PfMP®?
