I am taking my PMP exam at the end of February. Would you kindly share what you used to best prepare for the exam? Ideally, I would love to take an online bootcamp but I am afraid of getting scammed quite honestly. Thank you in advance.

From my experience, the best advise I can give to you in terms of study plans and resources is the following: (Provided you are taking the exam before June 30th)

Textbooks:
- PMBOK 6th Edition + Exam Content Outline
- Rita Mulcahy’s PMP Exam 9th

Courses and Simulation Exams:
- RMC Solutions
- PM PrepCast
- PM Star
- Udemy (Joseph Philips)

Hope this helps - Good Luck !

Thank you very much!

I am just starting to prep for the CAPM exam, and I had no idea where to begin. I finished one reading of the PMBOK, and was overwhelmed with the amount of information in it.

This helps a lot!

I found this video by Ricardo Vargas to be very helpful. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GC7pN8Mjot8 as it helped me gain an holistic view of the Process Groups and Knowledge areas, instead of a linear approach.
And this one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EAz-6M-RAV0

I also took the Prep Course with PMProlearn and their model was effective for me in learning.

I did not read daily or put consistent effort. Mostly during weekends and when I found the motivation - It took me about 2 months to complete reading entire book - skimming through all the pages, just to understand all the topics being covered.

Read the latest PMBOK Guide above 3 times to see the holistic view, and analyze PMP exam domain to identify whether it will be understandable or ambiguous to get confidence for exam taking.
