It was a privilege to participate in the community during these 6 months

I don't like the way it is managed, how the ambassadors were appointed, their presence and attitude (ambassadors)

Therefore, my partition will be reduced to a minimum, as was usual before starting this experience

I met some fantastic people, I read many articles, well structured blogs and with some foundation and, above all, making sense

I wish you all the greatest success in life and, in particular, in the project management profession

Luis,

Let me present some thoughts:

- You have made a positive impact on the community, one that has increased engagement.
- Every aspect of this community is imperfect, which is what makes it real and desirable.
- This platform, like PMI is in the midst of a transformation, and we know as PM’s how difficult that is.
- Sometimes, we need to have faith, patience and trust in a process, as we cannot be an arbiter for that which we cannot fully see (i.e., from our vantage point).

Luis, I think every personality on this platform has “rubbed” against the other personalities. It’s what happens when there is vulnerability. I personally wouldn’t want it any other way, as the dynamic of the site would suffer negatively without the contrast.

Please choose to engage despite the items you find concerning – your voice is needed.

Dear Luis,

sad to hear this.
You brought this community to be more vibrant and your persistence for comments and questions will be missed.

Appreciate that you are sharing your decision, too. It shows your honesty and openness without kicking others.

I am with PMI since 28 years and I have seen several engaged volunteers disengage, often because of a specific event that touched their feelings of respect or fairness, not saying this is the case for you too. My advice always was, when asked, be resilient.
And think about data driven decision making.

Don't fight the system, use it.

Luis, As you can see, the community will miss your presence. Sometimes we have to reevaluate our motivations and the value of the impacts we have. You have put an enormous amount of effort and energy into the community of which you can clearly see the rewards, such as influence (not the number, but actual influence) in the community.

Similar to what the others said, this is a global community, with many different native languages and nuances. While we all do our best to be the utmost professional, we are also humans with emotions, unique perspectives and personalities. Additionally, PMI is going through a transformation itself.

Many of the members you interact with have been here many years, seeing various fluctuations in the community; whether people, format, content, etc. That is simply part of being part of a larger collective.

Speaking for many here, I'd say we would prefer for you to work through it and remain one of our members.

Regardless of your decision, we will remain here and will welcome your return, and we all wish you all the best.
