It was a privilege to participate in the community during these 6 months

I don't like the way it is managed, how the ambassadors were appointed, their presence and attitude (ambassadors)

Therefore, my partition will be reduced to a minimum, as was usual before starting this experience

I met some fantastic people, I read many articles, well structured blogs and with some foundation and, above all, making sense

I wish you all the greatest success in life and, in particular, in the project management profession

In the short time I have been involved in this forum I specifically looked for your posts. You made made think and work things out as well as attracted other well spoken responses. All things in life are dynamic, subject to change. When you participate, you can influence. However, one has to follow ones heart.
Thanks and good luck.

Hi Luis.,

As you can see from my posts, I was also quite often disappointed by quite a few things imposed from the top as opposed to being grass-roots movement - it seems that people in offices think they know better than the people on the ground, and push aside anything that doesn't fit their view.

However, PMI is still OUR ASSOCIATION and we cannot allow to be pushed aside. We need more voices to speak the truth to power, so please think again if going away is really what you want to do.

Whatever you decide, I wish you all the best in your future endeavors!

Luis,

Sad to see you reducing you level of participation. Certainly, hope the moderators take the time to analyze your deception. You represent the point of view of many people that may have chosen not to be active.

Luis

You've been a great part of this community since becoming very active and you added value so it would be sad to see you go or reduce your participation as I got used to Luis with his famous sentence "Thank you for participating in this reflection".

I hear your concerns Luis and I am as well disappointed from a few things and decisions that were imposed on us recently which I believe were not fair and do not serve the greater public but I do what I do because I am passionate about it and PMI is our organization and belongs to everyone, it doesn't belong to one person so while some people might have disappointed you and their decisions were not fair, others are doing a great job so I suggest you look at the half full portion of the cup, take couple of days to relax and rest then come back to this community fully refreshed.

Maybe that was Luis' succession plan, waiting for you to join before he leaves?
