In the PMP exam how could you know it is project closure?

I saw some PMP training question mentioned "You have finished the deliverables", but per my understanding until it is being formal accepted we can't enter project closing?

But I check the answer of the training question it said it is asking closing stage.

I am not sure I fully understand your question but note that there is administrative closure and a project closure and it all depends on the full context of the question. Quoted from online:

"Administrative Closure is only done once per phase, or for the entire project. Project closure is not complete without procurement closure. Product acceptance is carried out using the Close Project or Phase process. The contracts are closed using the Close Procurement process"

Hi Rami, thanks for your reply, here is the question I saw... It didn't mention administrative closure / project closure, so I don't know why the question is asking closing stage.

You are in a very happy state today as you have completed all the deliverables. This was a complex project involving a lot of challenges, but with good management and a motivated team, things have been completed successfully. What should you do next as a project manager?

Perform Quality Control
Update lessons learned
Verify scope
Disband the team

Explanations:
The question is looking for details related to the closing process group. Scope verification is performed during the monitoring and controlling process group. So is the case with Perform Quality Control. One of the most important things to do during project closure is to create the lessons learned prior to disbanding the team.

It might not mention what type of closure but you should know the difference between administrative and project closure and what's involved in each.

As for the question, it is a little bit vague but it is easy to eliminate 3 answers and "Update Lessons Learned" makes most sense to me.

Not sure where you saw this question or where you got it from but as an advice, make sure you do simulation exams from reliable resources like PM PrepCast and RMC Solutions because the exam is full of scenario based questions of which some are lengthy.

Hello Tin,
I am also agree with Rami.
I prefer to choose "update the lessons" because "Perform Quality Control " is one of "manage quality" (PMBOK 6th) and this used to be done in Execution process group.

I used to get wrong questions even from famous R.E.Ps.

This is an ill-formed question. The language is quite colloquial.

Also, it is "Scope Validation" not "Scope Verification".

Page 131, last paragraph of PMBOK 6th edition says "Validate Scope is the process of formalizing acceptance of the completed project deliverables."
