Buy Pmp exam prep from Rira Mulcahy's (9th edition) follow the instructions of this book and you will succeed.
I read the book 3 times, learned by heart some rita's process (planning mainly). I passed the exam with "above target".
Plus through this book, you understand how the methodology is working, a real plus.

From my experience, the best advise I can give to you in terms of study plans and resources is the following: (Provided you are taking the current version of the exam)

Textbooks:
- PMBOK 6th Edition + Exam Content Outline
- Rita Mulcahy’s PMP Exam 9th

Study both resources, not only one as they complement each other.

Courses and Simulation Exams:
- RMC Solutions (Simulation Exams)
- PM PrepCast (Simulation Exams)
- Udemy (Joseph Philips Course)

The timeline for taking the new exam has been extended to January 2021 due to the current global pandemic situation.

Hope this helps - Good Luck !

My experience,

Passed the PMP exam in Feb with above Target in all areas. I read the PMBOK guide, and solved as questions that I can solve. I then revised the questions that I didn't get right with the PMBOX guide. Do a lot of practice exams, and you'll be fine.

Hi, I am also preparing for the PMP and as has been emphasized hitherto, I combine Rita Mulcahy + Head First (Comic learning) and the PMBOK 6th.

Read the material before the class. Twice. Pay attention in the class. Make notes of anything you didn't remember from when you initially read the material. Immediately after the class, schedule your exam. Take practice quizzes up to the day before the actual test day. You will still feel like you don't know everything. You will be more prepared than you think you are.
