Hello, I just changed my CAPM exam from the test centre to online proctored. Does anyone have experience with taking the exam this way that they can share? Saving Changes...
Yes, I just wrote it online 2 weeks ago.
You should test your PC , that it can download the Vue.exe file when the time arrives. I ran a check while I was on my Android, and it passed, however when it was time to start, I had to download and run an exe file, which a tablet did not allow.
A lady from India started a chat with with me. I had to take pictures of my ID, the full front of my desk, the full back of my desk, the full left of my desk, the full right of my desk, and of myself. She then launches your exam. You must be in a room where NO paperwork appears. I had to leave my office and go to the kitchen, as I had numerous postings on my wall (reminders/calendars). You are recorded and watched the entire time. All of your moves are recorded and where your eyes dart to. If you wear glasses you will have to show it closely to the webcam, upside down, back front, normal etc... You will have to show your wrists for watches/ best not to wear any jewelry or earbuds. You must have nothing on your desk except the PC, keyboard, mouse, no cell phone. No one must disturb you or walk by you or motion to you.
It was extremely convenient to me and would continue to do it.
If you get disconnected, you have to take ID and all photos again, and restart the chat, this happened when she first launched the test, it simply wouldn't appear, she had me logoff, which started the whole security check again.
When I was first testing, hardware devices are checked, and my mic was not passing, on a laptop. You have to start speaking immediately when the test starts, to get a check mark for Mic passed. So do start setting up for the test 20 minutes before it.
Good Luck! Saving Changes...
