Prioritization/ranking (T&T) is a Data representation or a Decision making?

On 13.2 it's referring to Decision making and on X6.2 it's referring to Data representation. (PMBOK 6).

did not find it in my PMBoK under x6.2.

My view is that many tools & techniques can be used for different purposes. For example a hammer or, more PM related, design thinking. Sometimes these are listed under x6.2 'ungrouped', like problem solving or meetings.

As to ranking, it involves making decisions and the result is data representated as information (which rank does an element have).
