Career Development Education Using PMI Standards

I have nine years experience as a paralegal. About 5 of those years have been as an active case manager. Is that considered "project management experience" for the purpose of applying for the exam?

Charlotte -

I'm assuming you are referring to the PMP exam. If so, while a legal case meets the PMBOK definition of a project, unless there was significant variation between the cases you managed which required you to spend sufficient effort working through the process groups & processes of the PMBOK framework, an auditor might not accept each submitted case as representing a project.
