I am hoping for some guidance. I have held the PMP certification since 1999. I transitioned from a PM to an IT Manager in 2007. While my role as an IT Manager still covers aspects of PM including technical, leadership, and strategy my role is much broader than strictly project management. It is challenging for me to acquire the 60 PDUs per cycle to maintain an active PMP certification. I attend courses/training; volunteer and obviously am a practitioner but that does not appear to be enough. What other recommendations does anyone have for someone in my position?
There are many options under Giving back to the profession, including volunteering with a PMI Chapter, presenting at conferences, or writing articles. Free webinars are the cheapest method to earn learning PDUs and there are tons of on-demand webinars available via this community.

Hello,
I am new to the PMI website and am new to project management in general. I am getting my PDU's through the free on demand webinars that projectmanagement.com has. All of them have been free and are about an hour in length.
