ANSI reported in its 26 February 2021 ANSI Standards Action Notice that The Standard for Project Management - 7th Edition was approved by its Board of Standards Review as an ANSI Standard on 16 February 2021.
The Standard will be published with the 7th Edition update to the PMBOK(R) Guide (the standard is the first three chapters in the updated PMBOK)
I was contacted by PMI as to whether I wanted my name listed in the back of the update as a contributor to the 7th Edition update and had until 5 March 2021 to respond.
I assume the actual release date will be sometime by the end of March 2021.
Amazon says 3/31/21 but it is available for preorder now. Saving Changes...

As you know, we are following an ANSI-accredited policy that guides the development and revision of The Standard for Project Management. We can share that the content is in final draft and that we are engaging with the last group of stakeholders as part of our efforts to ensure all voices are heard. While we are still planning for a 2021 release, we are unable to provide a specific date until we complete the ANSI approval phase.
As soon as we have a final date for the publication of the PMBOK® Guide – Seventh Edition, we will announce this in all of our normal communication channels. With respect to the Amazon date cited, please note that we begin working with our distributors, including Amazon, well in advance of our anticipated publication dates. The March 31 date was provided in an earlier draft of the development timeline. As you know, the timeline has changed and we are working with our distributors now to update our anticipated publication timeframes on a tentative basis while we work to complete our development process for The Standard for Project Management. PMI announced the PMBOK® 7th Edition exposure draft in January 2020 for the review of the project management community
Do you know if the exposure draft is open? I try to look for it, and I got an error where I click "Open drafts" Saving Changes...

The exposure draft of The Standard for Project Management was open 15 January to 14 February 2020. It is no longer available and all comments received were taken into consideration and the draft revised accordingly.
There are no other draft standards open for review and comment at this time.
