What is your renewal date? Did you do the DASM recently or were you grandfathered in from the CDA credential?
In my case, my DALSM was grandfathered over to DASSM and they pushed the renewal date to February of next year.
I do know that there were initial challenges with the renewal process resulting from the integration of DA certs into PMI's systems but I thought those had been resolved...
I renewed my certification back in February. The process was confusing but after a few inquires here and there, I got the following feedback from PMI:
"Once the payment has been completed, you need to send a payment confirmation message to [email protected] After the payment has been confirmed the DA team will update the renewal date on PMI.org."
I sent an e-mail to [email protected] and copied [email protected] then a few day later they sent me my new certificate and it wad renewed on my PMI Dashboard.

You definitely need to reach out directly to customer care, preferably by phone. I renewed my membership months ago, and have the bank statement to prove it. It doesn't show in my account despite attempting to contact them via email. This has been an irritating recurring problem with their point of sale system and back-end processes.
I completed the renewal of the DASM on April 15 of this year where I paid the $50 fee. I've reached out to [email protected] through several emails, called PMI several times. Yesterday I was on the phone for over an hour with PMI dealing with this despite being connected to an agent right away. No manager was available to talk with of course. I was told I would get a new certificate 48 hours from now about 25 days ago from my first messages. The PMP renewal process was so much easier, so I am just confused by the cumbersome DASM process. I appreciate everyone's feedback. It seems like a few have had this problem before.
I made this post to help gain some traction in the right direction as what I was doing with the phone calls and emails wasn't producing any results. 28 days after I have paid for the renewal I still don't have it. 26 days since it was 48 hours away from a resolution. Every time I contact them it is a new story. I need some help. I would recommend anyone thinking about pursuing a DASM to not give PMI your money until they get things figured out.
If anyone has any tips on how to get this resolved I would appreciate it. Please upvote this if you can maybe someone will see it.
Please allow 3-5 days for a follow is my latest response. After I ordered the renewal on April 15th. and was told it would be resolved in 48 hours a few days after that when I called. PMI really doesn't care.
After talking a manager, I was told I was not supposed to renew my DASM until there was 3 months remaining until it expires. So this caused the problem. This seems wrong, does it not?
So with DASM I was told you cannot renew your certification until there are 3 months remaining on it by someone from PMI. I thought you could do it anytime in the 12 months you held the certificate, what about everyone else?
