How can PMs Collaborate?

I am interested in doing some Pro Bono, Consultation or any other form of collaboration as in writing articles or books.

Id like to ask the PM Community if any of the above is even possible in the PM World? Would like to know if anyone has had any experience on this and would love to hear the good and the bad and what advice would you give me to start something?

Perhaps you could attempt to contact those that already write articles and books and see if they could give you any advice on how to start. Do you know the area in which you would like to write? Perhaps you could write some articles on projectmanagement.com I don't think you need to ask permission or anything like that.

One of my favourite PM authors, who also happens to write about collaboration in the PM world is Elizabeth Harrin.
