Yes, it is feasible to form a Project Management Institute chapter in Qatar if there is sufficient local demand and volunteer support. PMI requires at least 25 active PMI members, a steering committee, and a business case explaining the need for the chapter. (Project Management Institute). You can start by reviewing the official PMI Chapter Formation Guide and contacting PMI at [email protected]. The chapter formation is in good progress. There are a number of legal requirements that have to be met from PMI and government level. PMI Team members from the Middle East region and volunteers have been actively working on it and it is now very close!

Not much. I would suggest initially we form a group over WhatsApp with all the interested candidate. PMI needs at least 25 interested candidate and a business case for chapter formation. With such a group we can have a clear communication and road map for further activities. If any such group already exists, i would suggest someone share link of such a group or add other members to it. My contact number is +974 50506967.
