Best way to study for the CAPM exam

Hello all! What is the best way to prepare to take the CAPM exam? So far I have gone through the whole Project Management Basics Course and keep failing the practice test. I have started making my own flash cards but the content is LONG so that is taking me forever. What worked for you?

I recently attempted the CAPM exam for the first time on January 25, 2025, but unfortunately, I did not pass. I found that using PMI mock exams was not effective for CAPM preparation and felt it was a poor investment. Could you please suggest alternative and more effective methods to successfully pass the CAPM on my second attempt? Your advice would be greatly appreciated.

I highly recommend the following:

1) Go through the PMI Guide.
2) Purchase and Study Rita Mulcahy CAPM Exam Prep Book.
3) Do simulation exams. A good resource for this is PM Prep Cast.

In my opinion, the course alone won't be enough to prepare you for the exam.
