As we mentioned in an earlier post in The Critical Path blog, we have officially migrated our live webinar platform from WebEx to Zoom! Going forward, all ProjectManagement.com live webinars will take place on the Zoom platform. Due to this change and to ensure an enjoyable viewing experience on Zoom, we have outlined some important information below.
-You must connect your audio (“Join Audio”) when you enter the platform. It is extremely important that you perform this step when joining the webinar; otherwise, you will not hear the presentation.
-The mobile experience for ProjectManagement.com live webinars is NOT currently supported. We're working with Zoom to identify possible solutions to this issue. In the meantime, you should watch the live webinar from a computer. We'll provide an update as soon as we have one.
-Questions should be entered into the Q&A window in order for the presenter to see and address them. Chat will be enabled so that you can network with fellow attendees!
-We will continue to report PDUs on behalf of PMI credential holders for both the live and on-demand sessions, unless otherwise indicated.
-To facilitate automatic reporting of PDUs, please make sure that you are not already logged into Zoom on your device. In the event that the email address that you use for Zoom is different than the one that you use for ProjectManagement.com, our system will not recognize you in order to report PDUs on your behalf. Logging out of Zoom before accessing ProjectManagement.com and joining a live webinar will prevent this issue from occurring.
-You will still be able to watch on-demand webinars in the same way that you have in the past.
-Attendees will still be able to access the webinar platform 15 minutes prior to the start of the live webinar.
We have also put together a comprehensive list of Tips for Webinar Attendees to ensure that you're ready to participate when you join a webinar.
If you have any questions about viewing a live or on-demand webinar, please reach out – we are looking forward to an improved webinar experience! Saving Changes...
