Use your procurement team to canvas for potential supplier, then issue an RFI or RFQ to get to know and evaluate your candidates. Your procurement team will then set you up with standing purchase orders that allow you to tap your selected suppliers for pre-defined positions and pre-defined rates--make sure to allow for different levels of proficiencyand freight--when you need them.
