Hello everybody,

I’m Donya Shojaeddini, A Project Manager.
I successfully managed the projects in pharmaceutical industry from inception to completion based on their budgets and time lines.

I migrated to Canada recently and I am looking for new courses to improve my skills.
I also looking for Volunteer opportunities in this field.

I would be very happy to hear your suggestions.

sorry to hear about your problems. How about looking for a mentor which whom you can discuss this more deeply.
You may find one thru the Chapter, thru this website or LinkedIn.

And do not forget to look in VRMS for the GHQ Chapter, which indicates global opps.

In case the Toronto chapter doesn't appear to be too receptive, you can also try the PMI Lakeshore Chapter. I was a board member of it for six years and they accept a lot of newcomers to Canada into their volunteer committees.

For volunteer opportunities, you have two options:

1) Contact your local chapter.
2) Check the PMI VRMS System and you will find lots there. Some are virtual, others are in person.

For the courses, connect with me on LinkedIn. I frequently post professional development opportunities for courses and others. I just recently did.

Hi Rami, I Have tried using PMI's VRMS . and try to apply some volunteer opportunity, but unfortunately there is no single respond untill now, I hope VRMS can be updated, and old post that already obselete is removed from list.
