Followed by great resignation era, Indian IT sectors are adjusting its strategy and optimizing the portfolio. Yet i don't see correlation from PfMP integration on minimizing organization wasteages.

Do you think PfMP integration could benefit such a dynamic and big organization for minimizing wastes?

Denathayalan -

You might need to clarify your question. PfMP is a credential/certification. Are you referring to improvements in portfolio management capabilities within organizations?

If so, then yes, this would help to improve efficiency and effectiveness related to portfolio/program/project spend, but might need to be combined with an overall operational excellence initiative to reduce waste on a more holistic basis.

I agree with Kiron. The question should be clarified.

Just like any other unit, PfMOs have different priorities they have to juggle: maximize enterprise resources, increase revenue, increase market share, and so on.

As you can see not all these priorities are about managing and reducing waste. In fact, unless the company has a Lean culture, you may find that reducing waste is not on anyone's radar.

Organizations are open and adaptable systems. Then, they try to survive, growth and develop inside an environment. When you analyze the whole environment you will find the answer about what situation changed mainly for India companies related to IT.
