Kayla,

Don't be shy to ask, this is your time to ask questions and learn as much as you possibly can and try to be be hands-on to learn the details of how things are done so you can be able to efficiently manage in the future.

On another note, I advise you to work on your professional development in parallel with your work experience.

Hope this makes sense.

Good Luck,
RK

Kayla -

I 100% support Rami and Thomas's advice.

I'd add - never lose sight of the business case supporting a project's existence. It is too easy to get tunnel vision as far as scope, schedule and cost goes, but if you forget WHY we are doing a given project you could end up with the "operation was a success but the patient died" outcome!

In addition to Kiron, Rami, and Thomas's advice, I would say practice communication skills.

I echo Tiago's sentiments: keep learning and growing. Toastmasters is one of the best--and inexpensive--investment you can make for yourself.
