Hello Community, i have been away from this project management scene for a while, so playing a lot of catchup on articles, posts and publications. Let's work on a fast track to catching up together. Tell me, what is new in your world of Project, Program, Portfolio and Project leadership.
It can be a new technology, best practice, event or idea. Do share :-).

Not much,
there are always new hypes and old ideas coming up as young people or older newbies enter the field, trying to make sense of the thick books and seemingly conflicting concepts. And sometimes falling to simplistic models, as they are quicker to comprehend.

But I feel PM itself has not changed so much.
It is still 'make it happen', 'reduce complexity', 'influence stakeholders' - similar what they did building the pyramids.

Excelent topic Peter! Communication is the heart of Project Management in all aspects and process áreas.
Over the COVID and home-office períod, we had tô reinvent ourselves, and I guess lost mulher of the benefits of face-to-face integration.
It bacame easier to lose disperse and lote attention, as well as the amount of unnecessary meetings increased a lot.

Dear Obiajulum
In my opinion, nothing special, other than an attempt to apply the techniques and tools that are a mix of those used in project management and operations management to the creation of products (services) that we don't know very well what they will be.

Some say that experimentalism dates back to the 20th century...some say it predates it. Some say it dates back to the 15th or 16th century.

To support this "movement" a narrative is being built
