Did anyone come across or have experience with an AI platform ?

I would be interested to evaluate an AI platform thru its application to PM processes- such as extracting pertinent information/ lessons learned from a knowledge database. There might be also an application on evaluating project risks as well .Those are just some thoughts.

It depends on your definition of AI. Big data ecosystems like Apache Hadoop include algorithms like MapReduce which can be used for finding trends in massive amounts of data for things like lessons learned and risks. It's how credit card companies detect fraud.

It's available on Amazon Web Services AWS, but it is more suited to big data experts than novice users.

I've seen good applications of Cleverpath's AION business rules software. It supports multiple platforms, allowing you to scale up or down your AI solution to fit your throughput needs. The solution allows you to do heuristic programming (think IBM Watson that was used to play on Jeopardy).

AI and ML concepts can be leveraged to create forecast models. e.g.: Visualizing the potential impact of identified project risks. Predefined variables can be set up for the AI to monitor and trigger an alert when forecast indicates a change in consequence or likelihood.

Tools : Microsoft Power BI, Python, R .
