Hi PM folks, (newbee here) for the experience area of the PMP application, I have HS diploma and 20+ years full time PM experience and understand I need to show 5 of the past 8 years as PM experience. During the past 8 years I got laid off in Nov-2020 (covid/departmental WFR) and am ready to get back to work so I need to show 5 of the past 6 years as PM experience, it's doable but tight. Question is - can I show simultaneous/overlapping projects and count concurrently?
I can't remember a time when I ONLY had ONE project to run at a time. My peak number of simultaneous project assignments was about 8 and never less than 4. Is that a common experience or was I being 'abused'? Just kidding, all my colleagues were doing the same thing. Thanks for the insights! Cheers! Saving Changes...

Stephen, I don't see a problem showing 5 out of the past 6 years but for overlapping projects, you can't count the months twice. Any overlap is counted once only.
