There is no such thing as a "hybrid methodology". Either you have a "methodology" than can be predictive-based or adaptive-based, or you have a "hybrid" approach that blends methodologies.

When you create "a way" for creating solutions you have to think into a pyramid. In the base, the appoach (agile, lean, etc), over it the life cycle (iterative, incremental, iterative-incremental, waterfall, etc) that will support the approach, over it the method/framework that will support the life cycle (Scrum, V, XP, etc) and over it the tools. You can mix all these stuff to create what you need. DA could help on that running what they call WoW.
