Hi everyone,

I hope you're all well. I am in the process of studying for my PMP exam, and have received my 35 contact hours. Based on best practice, when is the best time to submit my PMP exam application? Is it now as I start my studying or should I wait until I am ready to write the exam?

Thank you for any guidance you can provide!

It's better that you submit your PMP application when you are already prepared to do the exam.

I recommend Rita Mulcahy's certification prep, it's a good option to acquire PM Knowledge at your own pace and is updated to the latest exam. Visit this link:

My suggestion would be to submit it ASAP so that you know whether or not you will be audited and can go through that process if needed. Once your application is accepted and you have paid (post-audit if needed), you still have a full year to do your studying and write the exam.

I totally agree with Kiron. I highly recommend you submit your application ASAP so when you’re ready, you can book and sit for the exam immediately.
