I did my Masters in Project Management in 2016. At that time PMBOK 5th edition was available as a reference guide for the preparation of PMP certification exam. Now, I want to appear in the PMP certification exam and the latest available PMBOK guide is the 7th edition with a completely different structure and content than the previous edition/s. Kindly advice about which guide I should follow to pass the exam. Thanks.

The PMBOK Guide is just one of many references used when test questions are developed for the exam. The Exam Content Outline should be your primary reference as it will help you understand the structure and content against which those questions are written.

PMI has also provided a references list at the bottom of this page and both the Sixth and Seventh editions of the Guide are valid references: https://www.pmi.org/certifications/project...xam-preparation

I would recommend you thoroughly go through the PMBOK 6th edition and read through the 7th edition as well. As an additional resource, I recommend Rita Mulchay's exam prep book.

Good Luck!

Read PMBOK 6th and 7th Edition. Also, I recommend Rita Mulcahy's certification prep, it's a good option to acquire PM Knowledge at your own pace, and is updated to the latest exam. Visit this link: https://rmcls.com/about/rita-mulcahy
