Greetings Everyone, I’m Rami. My background is in Structural Engineering and I have more than 19 years of experience in project management leading Construction and Real Estate Development Projects. Over the course of my career, I worked with reputable organizations and clients both nationally and internationally and been deployed on high profile projects across the Arab Gulf Region, Middle East, China and currently in Vancouver, Canada.
Besides working as a full time Senior Projects Manager with a consulting firm out of British Columbia, Canada and holding multiple key volunteer positions with global organizations, I am also the Founder/Executive Coach at RMK Coaching. Growing up, I've always wanted to be a surgeon and while my high school grades would have allowed me for a full scholarship, yet, I wasn't able to leave to go study overseas at the time due to some personal circumstances. My transition from Engineering to Project Management was accidential but smooth at the same time. I got attached to Project Management due to the non-routine nature of the field and the fact that is challenging most of the time. I function best under pressure and enjoy challenging work and I have lots of accomplishements both personal and professional to be proud of. On a personal level, I am passionate about Personal/ Professional Development. On my free time, I regularly workout, play basketball and enjoy the outdoors. I like trying new restaurants and different foods. ...

I am Barathraj, and I am thrilled to be a new member of this vibrant PMI community. Currently, I serve as Technical Project Manager, where I manage Projects for US healthcare IT industry for archival of data.
As a child, I dreamt of becoming a Airforce pilot, but my path eventually led me to the exciting world of project management. It's fascinating how life can take us on unexpected journeys. In my project management journey, I have found immense value in tools and technologies such as automation and data management. I'm also eager to explore and learn more about no code and low code tools used for data migration and archiving. The ever-evolving tech landscape in project management keeps me engaged and motivated. What initially drew me to the project management industry was its dynamic nature and the opportunity to lead and be part of transformative projects. The ability to see an idea become a reality through effective project management is a powerful and fulfilling experience that has kept me in this field. One of my proudest accomplishments, both personally and professionally, has been getting PMP certification in my first attempt. It was a moment of immense growth and achievement that has continued to inspire me in my project management career. I am eager to connect with fellow PMI members, share experiences, and learn from your insights. Let's embark on this exciting journey of knowledge sharing and growth together. Thank you for welcoming me into this community, and I look forward to contributing to and learning from our collective expertise. ...

Hey there, I'm Ivan, and today, I wear the hat of a Project Management Maestro. But let me take you back in time a bit to my childhood dreams...
As a kid in São Paulo, Brazil, I had a clear picture of what I wanted to be when I grew up. I was more of a dreamer, fascinated by electronics and the idea of making a real impact on the world. Now, fast forward to today, and I'm deeply immersed in the world of technology and project management. I have a set of trusty tools in my toolkit, like the PMP certification, ITIL Foundation, DASM, PSPO, and others. But, here's the exciting part - I'm always on the lookout for new tools and technologies to up our project game, so I started a deep dive into the AI world and becoming more and more interested in it! Learning never stops! What brought me into this bustling industry, and what's kept me here for 18 years? It's the thrill of tackling large-scale projects in sectors like energy, healthcare, finance, and more. The ever-changing challenges, the chance to innovate, and most importantly, the opportunity to make project management better in the tech world – that's what keeps me going every day! As for my proudest moment? Well, it's hard to pick just one! Every project successfully delivered and every time I've connected with an audience during my speaking gigs has been special (the last one in the past week at the PMI Romania conference) and the other one is acting as a mentor to the next-gen project managers at PUC Minas University in Brazil, with a partnership with PMI Minas Gerais – that's close to my heart. So, that's my journey from São Paulo to the global stage of project management. Cheers! ...

Hello everyone, I’m Joe, an architect with 15 years experience of turning ideas into sketches, sketches into detailed drawings, and the drawings into buildings and spaces that can be felt and experienced by users. I am a Kenya, born and educated, but spent most of my professional life in Rwanda, driving projects from design to construction.
As a kid, I was more drawn to the performing arts, i.e. music and theatre, but that was not considered a viable career choice where I am from. I first encountered technical drawing and design in high school, and that is where I immediately decided that architecture was going to be my life. As an architect, you often find yourself being a project manager by default, since you are leading project from the design stage, all the way to construction supervision. That is a position I excelled and thrived in for so many years, managing very successful projects in Rwanda, Uganda, D.R. Congo and Kenya. What I lacked was a standardised way of managing projects, and that is where I turned to PMI. PMP has given me the structure and tools to execute and manage projects more efficiently, and I cant wait to reap the benefits. My proudest accomplishment is my contribution to the Kigali skyline, and the continuous rapid development of infrastructure in Rwanda. ...
