Roy Chan Hong Kong, Hong Kong
Hi everyone,

My name is Roy Chan, born, raised and educated in Hong Kong. Under peer influence I pursued computer science for my undergraduate and postgraduate studies. Later I discovered my interest in languages that I abandoned programming for a while for the study of linguistics. My instinct in both areas have given me the tools in navigating through complicated application rollouts and project management adventures. I have been working in my current company (a luxury retail) for 13 years, with roles in retail & client business solutions analysts, ERP specialist and regional application support manager in both Hong Kong and Japan. My latest interest is building power platform solutions to bridge communication and to drive progress of day-to-day chores requiring cross-team collaboration.

I use Jira, Azure DevOps, Miro and Teams for project management. For producing consistent status report I use Power BI and to kick slow-moving tasks back on track I use Power Automate to push cross-channel reminders.

In project management, my "me at my best" area is having the finesse in scouting talents, and making people of different cultures to function effectively as one team.

It's my 11th year as a PMI member. I just find today the right time to be more assertive of myself. I wish you another good day in your office, and happy PM-ing!

Stephen Babb Director, Project Management| Drexel University Philadelphia, United States

I am Stephen Babb, the Director of Project Management for Drexel University Marketing & Communications (UMAC) in Philadelphia, PA, United States. UMAC is a high-volume, creative agency-modeled team.

My career plans always included education. I began as a student affairs practitioner and then converted to project management after a few years of teaching college students leadership, management, and conflict skills.

I was drawn to project management after reflecting on the parts of my early career roles where I excelled and found the most fulfillment. I use Asana every day for work and Apple Reminders every day for myself. I've used Smartsheet and a few others in the past, too. My interest in technology keeps me hooked on continuing to learn more project management systems.

I earned my PMP in February 2026 in an effort to validate the knowledge earned through PMI training and other career experience. I'm also proud of my master of science in higher education policy, which I apply to my career managing projects for a university.

Tessa Constantine
PMI Team Member
Thought Leadership Strategist| Project Management Institute Greater Stockholm Area, Sweden
Hi all! Happy to introduce myself. I'm Tessa Constantine, a Thought Leadership Strategist at PMI.

When I grew up, I wanted to be a horse jockey. Though I'm not very tall, I'm still wayyy too tall for the job! Other goals were watercolor artist and forensic pathologist.

Though it's not explicitly a project management tool, I do love Notion. It organizes my whole life, always has more functionality than I thought I needed, and the design features are frosting on the cake.

The PM profession is endlessly interesting because it covers all industries and geographies. I've always had a bad case of wanderlust and working in this field gives me another way to see the world without having to travel. What keeps me fascinated are the human components of the work. How teams navigate tensions and build a culture that sustains them is always evolving and will always be interesting to me.

My proudest accomplishment is probably my recent move to Sweden! To my wanderlust comments above, it's a dream come true to live in another part of the world. Seeing how different (and sometimes not so different) life is here compared to my hometown of Chicago is very exciting. Everything is an adventure now.

Vikas Kamble Senior Manager - Strategic Initiatives (Global)| Johnson & Johnson Pvt Ltd India
My name is Vikas Kamble, and I currently work as a Senior Manager – Strategic Initiatives (Global) at Johnson & Johnson, based in Mumbai, India. I lead complex, multi‑region programs focused on driving strategic outcomes through strong governance, cross‑functional alignment, and data‑driven execution.

Growing up, I was always drawn to challenging work—the kind that involves taking calculated risks, exploring unpaved paths, and continuously learning. That mindset has stayed with me throughout my career. I firmly believe that doing and experimenting teaches me far more than classrooms alone, and that belief has shaped how I approach both leadership and project delivery.

What drew me to project management—and what continues to keep me here—is the unique blend of problem‑solving, leadership, scale, impact, and transformation. Project management gives me the opportunity to turn ambiguity into structure, connect strategy with execution, and deliver outcomes that create real, measurable value. It also allows me to work at scale, influencing teams, systems, and decisions across geographies. Currently, I’m particularly interested in learning more about AI‑based planning and forecasting tools, especially how they can enhance decision‑making, improve resource planning, and elevate the maturity of project and program management practices.

I joined the PMI community to learn from diverse perspectives, exchange practical insights, and contribute my own experiences from leading global transformation initiatives. I look forward to engaging with fellow practitioners, learning from your journeys, and being part of conversations that shape the future of project management.
