Parth LuwariaSenior Manager| Tata ProjectsDelhi-NCR, India
Hi everyone !
I'm Parth, an engineering graduate from IIT Kanpur presently working in the infrastructure and EPC industry, where I support the planning, commercial strategy, and project controls functions on large, complex capital projects.
Growing up, I was always drawn to solving problems. Over time, I realized that the most interesting challenges aren't purely technical—they're about aligning people, navigating uncertainty, and making decisions with incomplete information. What keeps me passionate about this profession is that every project is a unique leadership challenge. Success rarely comes from only having the perfect plan; it comes from building trust, creating clarity, enabling collaboration, and helping teams adapt when things don't go as expected. Being part of that journey is what I find most rewarding.
Lately, I've been spending a lot of time thinking about how AI and Machine Learning can reshape project management—not to replace project managers, but to help us make better decisions, identify risks earlier, improve forecasting, and free up more time for the human side of leadership. I am also working in the development towards ML based models used for predictive scheduling, and risk management.
One accomplishment I'm particularly proud of has been driving digital transformation initiatives that helped leadership gain better visibility into project performance and make faster, data-informed decisions. Seeing technology translate into better outcomes for teams and projects has been incredibly fulfilling.
Outside of work, I enjoy exploring new ideas at the intersection of technology, leadership, and business, and I'm always interested in exchanging perspectives with professionals from different industries.
Looking forward to learning from all of you, sharing experiences, and contributing to the discussions. Excited to be part of this community! Saving Changes...
Student Community Specialist IINew England, United States
Hello everyone! I'm Cassie, a Student Community Engagement Specialist here at PMI!
Growing up I had many dream careers: baker, newscaster, writer or editor, wedding planner and more! Throughout my own university experience I discovered careers in higher education and student affairs and began working in career development and career coaching.
Having a background in career coaching, I've always found it fascinating that project management is both a skill and a job title that spans all fields and industries. I've worked with thousands of students and early career professionals overs the years who were seeking to learn more about project management, actively pursuing a certification, or who doing project management work in their jobs and didn't even know it!
My proudest professional accomplishments would be weaving my skills, experience, and passions into different career opportunities. In particular, I'm proud of launching and hosting a career development podcast for 2 years! Saving Changes...
Hello Everyone! I'm Jai Prakash from New Delhi, India. I have over 20 years of experience in Business Operations, Project Management, Process Excellence, and Business Transformation, and I'm currently pursuing my PMP certification. Growing up, I always wanted to build something meaningful and solve real business problems. Today, I enjoy working on projects that improve processes, increase efficiency, and create value for organizations. Some of the tools I frequently use are Microsoft Project, Jira, Trello, Zoho Projects, Microsoft 365, Power BI, Excel, and AI tools. I'm always interested in learning new technologies that help teams deliver projects more effectively. What attracted me to project management is the opportunity to bring people, processes, and technology together to achieve a common goal. Throughout my career, I have led process improvement initiatives, developed SOPs, implemented KPI and MIS dashboards, standardized business operations, and worked closely with leadership to improve execution and decision-making. One of my proudest achievements has been helping organizations build structured operating frameworks that improved productivity, accountability, and customer experience. This is one of the reasons I'm pursuing PMP—to strengthen my knowledge of globally recognized project management practices and apply them to deliver projects with better planning, stakeholder management, risk control, and predictable outcomes. Eric MahinduSenior Project Management| Urban Renewed LimitedNairobi, 30, Kenya
Hello everyone! I'm Eric Macharia, a Projects Director and PMP® with over 10+ years of experience delivering construction, MEP, ICT, and real estate development projects across Kenya, Eastern, Central and Southern Africa.
Growing up, I always wanted to be a wealthy businessman, particularly in construction and related industries. As life unfolded, that ambition led me into MEP Engineering, with a specialization in Electrical Engineering. Looking back, I realize it wasn't a detour it was the foundation that prepared me to lead complex multidisciplinary projects and bridge the gap between technical execution and business strategy.
I'm passionate about using technology to improve project delivery. My go-to tools include Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Microsoft Excel, CAD, and AI tools like ChatGPT. I'm particularly interested in learning more about AI-driven project management, predictive analytics, digital twins, and integrated project delivery platforms.
What drew me to project management was the opportunity to turn ideas into reality while coordinating people, processes, and technology toward a common goal. What has kept me in the profession is the challenge of solving complex problems, the opportunity to continuously learn, and the privilege of leading teams that create lasting impact.
One of my proudest professional accomplishments is earning my PMP® certification. It represents years of hands-on experience, continuous learning, and a commitment to delivering projects with excellence. Beyond that, I'm proud of mentoring young professionals and entrepreneurs as they build successful careers and businesses.
I'm excited to be part of this community, connect with fellow professionals from around the world, exchange ideas, and continue learning from your experiences. Looking forward to reading your stories, connecting, collaborating and partnering with you all...

Filipe ReisConstrutora QuebecNova Lima, MG, Brazil
Hi everyone, I'm Filipe.
I'm a Civil Engineer from Belo Horizonte, Brazil, and if you'd told me years ago that I'd end up leading commercial teams instead of standing on execution sites, I probably wouldn't have believed you. I started my career hands-on, working the execution side of large solar and hydroelectric projects. Somewhere along the way I got pulled toward the commercial and business development side of the industry, most recently as Gerente Comercial at Construtora Quebec, leading a Novos Negócios team focused on EPC contracts across renewable energy, mining, and industrial infrastructure. I've also worked as a commercial representative at Diefra.
Right now I'm an Executive Manager at Vesper Engenharia, overseeing Maple Bear school units in Sete Lagoas and Lagoa Santa, which is its own kind of interesting since it's a different world from heavy infrastructure.
Honestly, what's kept me here all these years is pretty simple: I like that no two days in engineering look the same, and I like knowing the work, when it's done right, actually improves people's lives. I also hold a PMP certification, an MBA from IBMEC, and a postgraduate degree in Engineering Planning from IETEC, though I'll admit none of that explains as much about why I stayed in this field as the two reasons above.
