YASER FAREA ALI AHMED ALMAQRAMIProjects Manager| SAS CONSTRACTIONAL AMEER FUAZ AL AMEER FUAZ JEDDAH Makkah al Mukarramah 22233, Saudi Arabia, Saudi Arabia
Hello, I'm Yaser Al-Maqrami, a Yemeni Project Manager currently based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. If someone had told me at the beginning of my career that I would one day be leading complex infrastructure programs, managing high-value contracts, and guiding multidisciplinary teams instead of focusing solely on construction sites, I probably would have smiled in disbelief. Yet that journey has defined who I am today.I am a PMP-certified Project Manager and Senior Civil Engineer with more than 20 years of experience delivering major infrastructure projects across Saudi Arabia and Yemen. Throughout my career, I have been privileged to contribute to projects that directly improve communities by providing essential services and sustainable infrastructure. My professional journey began in the field, where I gained firsthand experience in construction execution and site management. As my career evolved, so did my responsibilities.. from supervising engineering activities to leading project delivery, managing contracts, mitigating risks, coordinating stakeholders, and driving strategic decision-making throughout the entire project lifecycle.Over the years, I have managed and delivered a wide range of infrastructure projects, including water transmission pipelines, water distribution networks, sewerage systems, pumping stations, wastewater treatment plants, and road projects. I have also contributed to several of Saudi Arabia's landmark giga projects, including infrastructure developments in Qiddiya (KSA) and pumping station projects in NEOM (KSA), ensuring delivery aligned with scope, schedule, budget, quality, and contractual commitments.Beyond project execution, I have built strong expertise in FIDIC contract administration, claims management, risk management, procurement coordination, quality assurance, change management, and stakeholder engagement. I believe that successful projects are not driven by technical expertise alone.. they are built on leadership, collaboration, proactive planning, and the ability to transform challenges into opportunities.Earning the PMP-Project Management Professional certification reinforced my commitment to continuous learning and professional excellence. However, what continues to inspire me every day is not the certification or the title. It is the opportunity to lead teams, solve complex problems, and deliver projects that create lasting value for organizations and improve the lives of the people they serve. For me, project management is more than delivering a project successfully.. it's about building trust, empowering people, and leaving a meaningful legacy through every project I lead.

Hello everyone! My name is Amaya Torres Casañas. I am originally from Cuba and currently based in Salamanca, Spain. My background is in design, and over time my career naturally evolved into Project Management. Today, I work mainly on technology and international projects, coordinating different teams and stakeholders and trying to bring structure and clarity to complex environments. What I enjoy most about Project Management is that there is always something new to learn. I particularly like understanding how all the pieces of a project connect, working with different people and finding practical ways to move things forward together. I recently became PMP certified, and I am currently very interested in continuing to learn about AI Project Management and how new technologies are changing the way we work. Outside of work, creativity is still a very important part of my life, and I enjoy developing art and community projects whenever I have the opportunity. I am very happy to join this community, learn from your experiences and share ideas with you all. Looking forward to connecting with you! Saving Changes...
Hello everyone! I'm Ezgad Mazimpaka, an Electrical Engineer, Internal Audit Specialist, and Renewable Energy professional currently working with the Rwanda Energy Group (REG). My work focuses on engineering audits, electricity infrastructure, project management, risk management, and governance to improve the reliability and performance of energy systems. Growing up, I wanted to become a medical doctor, if not an engineer, because I was fascinated by how electricity powers communities and transforms lives. That passion has guided my career ever since. Some of my favourite project management tools include Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel, and Power BI for planning, scheduling, tracking, and reporting. I'm also eager to deepen my knowledge of AI-powered project management tools, advanced analytics, and digital collaboration platforms that improve project delivery. What drew me to project management was the opportunity to turn ideas into impactful results while coordinating people, resources, and technology. What has kept me in the field is seeing projects successfully improve people's lives, especially through energy access and infrastructure development, while continuously learning and solving complex challenges. One of my proudest accomplishments has been earning my Master of Science in Renewable Energy and applying that knowledge to strengthen engineering audits and support the delivery of reliable energy infrastructure projects. I'm excited to connect with fellow project management professionals, learn from your experiences, and share insights and new connections for future career growth. Looking forward to engaging with all of you!

Hi everyone — Jason Boyle here, Senior Project Manager based out of Pickering, Ontario, Canada. Close to 20 years working across a range of industries and environments, currently in a consulting context. Lately I've been deep in a question that keeps surfacing in my work: what actually happens when a project risk crosses a serious threshold — who finds out, how fast, and by what mechanism? Looking forward to connecting with others who've dealt with the same problem. Saving Changes...

Welcome, Jason. In my experience, the key is to define risk thresholds in advance. Once a risk exceeds those limits, the escalation process should be triggered automatically, with timely communication to stakeholders and decision-makers. Great topic! Saving Changes...
