Mojtaba MombeiniProject Management| Vulcain EngineeringSaint-Germain-en-Laye, IDF, France
Hi everyone! I’m Mojtaba Mombeini, currently working as a Project Scheduler at Oil & Gas company in Paris, supporting major EPC and industrial projects. I have more than 16 years of experience in project planning and scheduling, including over six years working directly on construction sites. My experience covers procurement, engineering, construction, equipment installation, commissioning, and project execution.
Growing up, I was always interested in understanding how things work and how complex activities can be organized to achieve a common goal. That interest eventually led me toward industrial engineering and, later, project management.
My favorite project management tools are Primavera P6, MS Project, Excel, Power BI. I particularly enjoy combining project controls with data analytics—turning complex project information into clear dashboards, KPIs, forecasts, and actionable insights.
What initially drew me to project management was the combination of technical problem-solving, planning, coordination, and working with different stakeholders. What has kept me in the field is the fact that every project is different. There are always new challenges, unexpected constraints, and opportunities to improve the way a project is planned and executed.
One of my proudest professional accomplishments has been building a career that combines project scheduling, construction experience, and data analytics. I’ve had the opportunity to work across different industries and project environments, from major EPC and petrochemical projects to healthcare, automotive, and large-scale industrial projects.
I’m also continuing to develop my project management knowledge and working toward further professional growth in the field.
I’m looking forward to connecting with other project professionals, exchanging experiences, and learning from this community!
Hello everyone, I'm Ericka, and I'm transitioning into project management while completing my studies and building hands on experience through academic and community projects. I have always wanted to do work that makes a real difference in people's lives and in companies. That desire to create meaningful impact is ultimately what led me toward project management, the blend of structure, problem solving, and people centered leadership fits me perfectly.
Now I'm especially interested in learning more about project management tools and technologies that support planning, collaboration, and automation. I enjoy using tools that bring clarity and structure to complex work, and I'm excited to deepen my skills with platforms like MS Project, Jira, and other modern Project Management technologies.
The thing that drew me to Project Management and keeps me here is the ability to turn ideas into outcomes. This is what I keep on hearing about. I love the process of organizing chaos, aligning people, and watching a plan come to life. The more I learn, the more I realize how much opportunity there is to grow, contribute, and lead.
My proudest accomplishment so far is successfully navigating a major life transition while continuing my education, strengthening my analytical skills, and staying committed to my long term goals. It's a journey that I am embracing, and I'm proud of how far I've come.
Thank you all! Saving Changes...
Claire GrantManaging Director| PHARE Media Consultancy LimitedCaribbean, Jamaica
Hello everyone, I’m Dr Claire Grant, PMP, joining you from Jamaica in the Caribbean. I’m the Managing Director of PHARE Media Consultancy Limited, with more than 30 years of executive and leadership experience in media, communications and business. My professional work has increasingly involved complex projects at the intersection of media, technology, organisational transformation and strategy, working both in Jamaica and across the wider Caribbean. I earned my PMP in 2025, and one of the things that has particularly interested me is the relationship between formal project management practice and the experience that many of us bring from managing real-world initiatives long before formally entering the project management profession. I’m particularly interested in how project management continues to evolve in response to AI, digital transformation and rapidly changing business environments, as well as how established project management principles translate across different industries, organisational cultures and regions. I’m looking forward to learning from the experiences represented in this community, contributing perspectives from the Caribbean and from the media and communications sector, and connecting with fellow practitioners around the world. I am happy to be here and look forward to meeting others in this space. Claire Saving Changes...

Fady HegazyProjects Manager| ZAD GULF FOR CONTRACTINGSJeddah, Saudi Arabia, Egypt
Hello everyone! 👋 My name is Eng. Fady Hegazy, a PMP-certified Civil Engineer and Projects Manager based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, with a professional background spanning project management, technical office management, design coordination, engineering, and construction delivery. Growing up, I was always fascinated by engineering and by the idea of turning drawings and concepts into something real. Over time, that interest evolved beyond engineering itself into leading teams, coordinating disciplines, solving complex problems, and managing projects from concept to delivery. In my daily work, I use a combination of engineering and project-management tools such as Primavera P6, Revit/BIM, AutoCAD, ETABS, SAFE, Navisworks, and other digital collaboration tools. Recently, Artificial Intelligence has become an increasingly important part of my workflow, helping me improve analysis, communication, productivity, decision-making, and technical coordination. I am particularly interested in exploring how AI can be integrated responsibly and practically into project management. What keeps me passionate about this industry is that no two projects are exactly the same. Every project brings new stakeholders, constraints, technical challenges, risks, and opportunities to learn. I particularly enjoy taking complex information and turning it into a clear, structured plan that a team can actually execute. One of the accomplishments I am most proud of is continuing to develop myself beyond my core engineering background — progressing into project leadership, earning my PMP certification, and continuously expanding my knowledge in BIM, management, technology, and AI. I joined the PMI community not only to learn, but also to exchange real-world experiences, share ideas, connect with professionals from different industries and countries, and contribute wherever my experience can add value. Looking forward to connecting with you all and learning from your experiences. Best regards, Eng. Johanna VazquezProject Administrator| Heidrick & StrugglesBrandon, FL, United States
My name is Johanna, I go by Jo for short, and I am thrilled to be here! I am currently working for a SHREK firm as a Project Admin. I have been doing various types of PM work for 7 years now, and I am ready to make it official.
When I was younger, a few careers piqued my interest that I believe still play a role in how I show up as a PM. I wanted to be a singer, used to be in a rock band, and loved putting on a show and making people happy. I also have a strong belief in justice for all, so naturally, I thought becoming a lawyer was it, until it wasn't. And now, I've found myself stumbling across this career path after having unknowingly dabbled in it my entire career. I still use my charisma to charm stakeholders into alignment, and I still use the scales to balance what is fair for all, but most importantly, the outcome we are trying to achieve.
I've been fortunate with my current team in that they have given me exposure to all of the PM tools I have experience with thus far. I've enjoyed Asana and utilized it in a different way than the typical PM tools/tasks. We used it to build out a pipeline, if you can believe it, and it worked really well. I've also had the chance to work with Mural, Kanbans, Gantt charts, Monday.com, Jira, and more. It's been incredibly exciting; however, I am looking forward to the chance to lead a project on my own, utilizing these even deeper.
What drew me to PM-ing was noticing my knack for seeing the problem before the solution. On the surface, that may sound like I am your modern-day Debbie Downer, but truthfully, I have a sixth sense for uncovering inefficiencies and shedding light on solutions no one has dreamed of, while entertaining my audience with joy and brutal truths that are softly landed with a smile. I've always been this way, and one day a friend said, "Why aren't you going for your PMP?" She encouraged me to take a CliftonStrengths test and throw it into ChatGPT to see what it suggests for someone like me. Lo and behold, the first option was Lawyer (shocker...), and the second, Project Manager. And I've been on this journey since. I couldn't imagine doing anything else for the time being, as I love bringing a joyful solution to a glib situation.
My proudest personal accomplishment would have to be forming a successful rock band. I was a lead singer, and we nearly signed to open for Paramore. I'm very proud of it, not because of the success, but because I believed in myself in a way I hadn't yet, and it was the catalyst for me becoming secure in the life I was leading.
Professionally, I'd say getting approved for the PMP. It's been an added layer of validation that once again showed me I am capable of anything I put my mind to, and that all of the work I've done leading up to this has been justified. I'm really excited for what's to come, as I'm sure the professional response will change once I have officially passed. I can't wait! Studying as we speak!! :) Saving Changes...
