Joseph Onyema lehigh acres, FL, United States

Hello everyone, my name is Joseoh, and I am excited to join the PMI community. I am a results-driven Business Analyst with more than five years of experience supporting software development, system enhancements, and business process improvement initiatives. My work has involved partnering with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements, document processes, identify gaps, and help deliver solutions that improve operations and customer experience. Throughout my career, I have often worked independently as the lead Business Analyst on projects. From requirements discovery and current-state analysis to user stories, acceptance criteria, testing support, and stakeholder communication, I enjoy helping turn business needs into clear and practical solutions. I have learned that successful delivery depends not only on technology, but also on strong communication, planning, collaboration, and a shared understanding of the goal. My interests include Agile project delivery, process improvement, stakeholder management, risk and issue tracking, project planning, and the use of AI tools to improve productivity and decision-making. I am now building on my Business Analyst and project leadership experience as I pursue opportunities as an Associate Project Manager, Jr Project Manager with the long-term goal of becoming a Project Manager. I am eager to learn from experienced project professionals, strengthen my project management knowledge, and contribute meaningfully to projects that create measurable value. I look forward to connecting, sharing ideas, and growing with this community.

I am actively exploring Business Analyst and Associate Project Manager opportunities where I can apply my experience in process improvement and project delivery. I welcome connections, professional advice, and referrals to opportunities that may be a strong fit. Happy to connect

TeikMeng Ts. Tan Project Director| TTM Konsortium Sdn Bhd Simpang Ampat, Penang, Malaysia
Hi everyone! 👋
My name is Ts. Tan Teik Meng,PMP® and I’m currently working as a Project Director / Construction Project Management & Quantity Surveying Consultant, involved in the design, construction, and delivery of industrial and residential projects.
When I was younger, I wanted to be involved in the construction and engineering field. I’ve always been interested in how ideas and drawings can be transformed into real buildings and projects.
I regularly work with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, BIM-related tools, cost management systems, and digital collaboration platforms. I’m also keen to learn more about AI applications in project management, data analytics, BIM, and automation, especially how they can improve decision-making and project delivery.
I was drawn to project management because construction brings together people, cost, time, quality, design, and risk—all of which need to be coordinated to achieve a successful outcome. What keeps me in the industry is the satisfaction of seeing a project progress from an initial concept into a completed facility that people can actually use.
Professionally, I’m proud of having built my career across quantity surveying, project management, and construction delivery, and being able to take on increasingly complex responsibilities. Personally, I’m proud of the journey itself—continuously learning, developing professionally, and being able to contribute value to clients and project teams. [Project Management Professional (PMP®) — Project Management Institute (PMI), Certified Construction Project Manager (CCPM), Level 6 — CIDB Malaysia, Professional Technologist (Ts.) — Malaysia Board of Technologists (MBOT) , CDM 2024 Professional.

Looking forward to connecting with everyone, sharing experiences, and learning from each other! 🤝

Nigel Lim Senior Consultant| H3VEA Technology Services Singapore, -, Singapore
Hi Folks,

My name is Nigel Lim, and I am currently in between roles, of which both surrounds digital transformation projects.

Growing up, I enjoy sports, there was a passion for football - which never came into fruition. Growing up in Singapore meant that it was more practical to watch the game, than to play the game. As the back starts to ache every now and then, its not entirely a bad idea to be a spectator haha.

When it comes to PM Tools, to be honest, I do not have a favourite one. But the ability to integrate Claude / ChatGPT / Gemini into the current set of tools I am utilising has definitely helped to make my experience at work a more splendid one. Beyond just the crafting of documentations, these AI tools have released me to be spend more time thinking about risks and opportunities, beyond just the daily documentation. For sure, I will be interested to learn more about how AI can help me to be more efficient in my daily work.

I chanced upon the world of project management - was never passionate about it. However, I chose to stay because I realised that it was something I could be good at. At the crux of it all, we stand in the midst of a group of people who at the end of the day, want the project to succeed - albeit differing priorities. The opportunity to move things forward surrounded by brilliant people, it teaches you to be humble and empathetic. But at the same time, you are forced to carry a fine balance of practicality and business-mindedness. This fair balance intrigues me.

Proudest achievements? I think just being able to turn for work every day to overcome another barrier or obstacle for someone - I think that's what keeps me going. At the end of the day, in a perfect world, a project manager is never required. I will die on this hill - if you hire a group of perfect people, you don't need a project manager. Project managers are useful only because we get to bridge the gaps and make imperfect people successful. This is what I see as a privilege I get to do, day to day.

Saif ur Rehman Project Management| First NetGulf Company Limited
Hello everyone! 👋

Name and role: I'm Saif Ur Rehman, based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. I'm Business Development Manager at First Net Gulf Company, where I also work across PMO and contract management for telecom and infrastructure projects. I have over 18 years of experience in civil construction, engineering, telecom infrastructure and contract management.

Favorite PM tools and technologies: Primavera P6 and MS Project for scheduling, and Excel for BOQs, pricing models and cost tracking. Lately I've been exploring how AI can speed up proposal preparation, reporting and risk analysis, and I'd like to learn more about Power BI dashboards and agile tools.
What drew me to project management and kept me here: I started on the technical side of construction and soon saw that most projects succeed or fail on planning, contracts, risk management and communication rather than on engineering alone. What keeps me here is the variety. Every project, client and tender is a new challenge, and there's real satisfaction in turning a complex scope into a delivered result.
Proudest accomplishment: This month I earned both my PMP® and PMI-RMP® certifications, within about a week of each other. After many years of hands-on experience, it was very rewarding to have that knowledge formally recognized. I'm now working towards PMI-ACP and PgMP next.
I'm looking forward to learning from this community, sharing experiences from Gulf infrastructure and telecom projects, and connecting with fellow professionals. Feel free to reach out!
