Greetings Everyone, being the newest member I am glad to be part of this vibrant PMI community.
I am Neha, having around 7.5 years of IT experience and had worked as a Technical Lead and project coordinator. I took a career break since 2019 due to caregiving and it's been around 5 years now. I am glad that I have decided to resume workforce again and upskill myself.
I am CAPM certified and looking forward to connect with my fellow PM's to gain more from their experiences and expertise.
Proudest accomplishment professionaly was when I managed company wise Web accessibility project and able to gain significant amount of retention and satisfaction rate of customers with disabilities.
Personally, I am proud that I took decision to gave my work a little pause so that I can take care of my child due to covid era at that time.
This has been such a great networking tool not only to make connections and share ideas but also to explore new opportunities.
Thankyou for welcoming me!

Hi Esther, welcome! I look forward to seeing you around PMI's online community; thanks for joining us!
-Your name and your current role
Kara Austin, Director of the EPMO/Enterprise Program Management Office at PMI
-What did you want to be when you were growing up?
Growing up I always wanted to work with people in Human Resources. I did do this for a year, however ended up working in Marketing Operations, banking and start up companies doing project management.
-What are your favorite project management tools and technologies? Or ones that you’d like to learn more about?
I am obsessed with operational efficiency, so I like anything simple like Trello or even Excel if it’s faster. I am a huge fan of Sembly AI meeting minutes, ChatGPT and the AI functionality in Miro to brainstorm ideas or user stories. I am a huge fan of agile ways of working. I like to choose my own adventure across all the options we have available.
-What drew you to the project management profession? What's kept you in it?
I love organizing complex projects and finding solutions. I also enjoying being a servant leader to share anything I have learned that makes my life easier. I want to help others make it easy too!
-What's your proudest accomplishment (personal or professional)?
I am so proud to be part of the PMOGA Community, which is of course part of the PMI family. I obtained the PMO-CP certification prior to our acquisition and it changed my mindset. The course was a lightbulb moment for how I was running the EPMO and what I could do to improve it. I was thrilled when PMOGA joined us at PMI to expand our reach. Saving Changes...
