Hello all :) I'm Dara, currently a technical project manager, formerly a software engineer and a K-12 educator. I became an accidental project manager to support my students and my team to effectively keep track of their creative ideas, identify shortest path to achieving our goals, managing changing scope and working in different timezones. I then worked on my PMP and CSM certifications and continue to work professionally with global teams and explore unique ways to create a space for collaboration and communication. I'm neurodivergent and frequently find myself battling agility, productivity and my personal need for space and creativity. But I can also empathize with this basic human need and always take the extra time to provide it for my team. By joining this community, I hope to learn from you all and enrich my work.

Radinang GwangwaProfessional Engineer| Municipal Infrastructure Support Agent, MISAJOHANNESBURG, GAUTENG, South Africa
Hello everyone, my name is Radinang Gwangwa, and I have a background in Electrical Engineering with over 17 years of experience in the Engineering sector, spanning both the public and private sectors. As a child, I dreamed of becoming a tourist and exploring the world, and although life's constraints have limited my travels, I still hold onto that dream.
My journey into Project Management was unexpected. When the assigned project manager responsible for delivering a solution to my department resigned, I was asked to take over the project due to my familiarity with the requirements.
I then transitioned to a new role, as a Quality Manager in Projects (QMiP) for a multinational organization focused on Signalling Engineering in the Railway sector. Since then, I have progressed to my current position, where I am responsible for offering project management, capacity development, and technical support in the local government space for the delivery of electrical infrastructure, specifically Electrification projects.
I am eager to learn more about project management tools such as Evernote and Risk management tools, as they can greatly enhance my skills and effectiveness in my role.
What fascinates me about project management is its applicability to various aspects of life, both personal and professional. It provides continuous opportunities for learning, growth, and development. This is where my interest and passion for project management stem from, and I am committed to expanding my career within this field.
I take great pride in successfully completing the first official project I was assigned to deliver. Additionally, delivering my first electrification project and witnessing the positive impact it had on both the customers (beneficiaries) and the officials I was able to develop and coach has been a significant achievement for me.
That is my Brief....

Timothy ArmstrongSr Technical Project Manager| Digital Federal Credit UnionManchester, NH, United States
Hello All!
My name is Tim and I'm the Sr Technical Project Manager at a credit union in New England. When I grow up, I'd like to be a pilot (assuming I'm still "growing up"). Some of my favorite tools and techniques are all release/deployment planning activities, and leveraging the Atlassian product suite to assist. I was drawn into Project Management as a stepping stone to a career in IT Management (before becoming a pilot, that is). My greatest accomplishment as been teaching my dog to "leave it" when a baby bunny or squirrel finds it's way into her mouth.
Looking forward to getting involved and learning more!

MUNEZERO NadineDirector of PM/PMO| REAL CONTRACTORS LTDGASABO, 1, Rwanda
Hi Everyone,
My Name is Nadine and I received my PMP this year (2024) in August. I am working in construction company as a project manager.
When I was growing up, I wanted to be a great civil engineer, I had a clear picture of what I wanted to be when I grew up. I was more of a dreamer, fascinated by engineering and the idea of making a real impact on the world
Now, I still like to design but I also realized I am great at PM and seeing the completion of a project that I worked on is also satisfying.
I don't really have a fav. pm tool as each company I worked for had their own way of working.
Actually, I fell into this role, my last position was to construct stadium which needed people who would think out of the box, create processes, collaborate, etc. in order for it to be successful.
Obtaining my masters degree in project management and planning and PMP honestly and showing me that I can actually do this!
