Hello! I'm Teresa Manuel Miguel Cangundo, a highly motivated and results-oriented Chemical Engineering student with a strong passion for environmental sustainability and project management.

I'm currently pursuing my B.Tech in Chemical Engineering at Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, India. My academic background also includes a strong foundation in science with a focus on physics and biology.

My research experience revolves around wastewater treatment and recycling. I've been actively involved in projects focused on enhancing efficiency, optimizing pollutant removal, and maximizing water reuse. Additionally, I'm currently investigating the potential of using readily available algae to remove harmful dyes from water.

Beyond academics, I gained valuable hands-on experience as a Chemical Engineering Intern at the Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers (IIChe). This internship allowed me to contribute to challenging projects, utilize my engineering skills, and prioritize safety while performing chemical processes.

My leadership qualities shine through my involvement in various student organizations. At Andhra University, I served as the Vice President of the Angolan Students Association and a student representative for the International Chemical Engineering Students. Previously, I held leadership positions as President of the National Science and Math Quiz Team and Personal Secretary to the Student Chaplain at PUNIV High School.

My commitment to environmental issues extends to volunteering and outreach programs. I've actively mentored high school students preparing for prestigious science and math competitions.

As a testament to my dedication, I've received an ICCR scholarship for my undergraduate studies and participated in the prestigious Eco-InnovateX Ideathon focused on sustainability challenges.

I possess a strong skillset that includes proficiency in chemical simulation software, programming languages (Python & C), laboratory techniques, and excellent communication and time management skills.

I'm eager to leverage my knowledge, experience, and passion for environmental solutions to contribute to a sustainable future.

Welcome to PMI's online community, Teresa Manuel Miguel Cangundo Cangundo!

Thank you for sharing with us; your studies sound so interesting! I look forward to seeing you around the online community. We're glad to have you here!
My name is Josef Rasuly. I am a certified project manager with over a decade of experience in international business development, strategic alliances, and technology-driven project management across the energy and technology sectors. I'm excited to be part of this vibrant community and eager to connect with other project management professionals to share insights and best practices.

Growing up, I always wanted to be a business professional. I was inspired by how my father managed his business, which focused on quality management, ethics, and respect. This passion led me to pursue a career integrating strategic planning, project leadership, and technology innovation.

In addition to my expertise in project management, I am also a software engineer with an academic degree in business administration. My certification in generative AI equips me to explore AI-driven project management solutions—a game-changer for project efficiency and innovation.

I rely on Agile methodologies and tools like Jira and Trello to streamline workflows and ensure that projects align with business objectives. I constantly seek to expand my knowledge of cutting-edge technologies and project management tools that drive operational efficiency and deliver measurable results.

What attracted me to the project management industry is the ability to transform complex challenges into actionable strategies and deliver successful outcomes. The most rewarding part of my career is leading cross-functional teams and seeing a project through from concept to completion, especially across global markets.

One of my proudest accomplishments was negotiating a significant partnership deal that expanded business operations across multiple industries and regions, showcasing the impact of effective project management and strategic alliances.

I look forward to connecting, learning, and collaborating with you all in this dynamic community!

Pieter Pretorius Project Manager| Self-Employed Shanghai, China, Mainland

Hi Team, I hope you all are having a great day. Just a short introduction I'm a seasoned project manager (although after joining PMI I'm not so sure anymore) with a background in Urban Planning and Engineering. I have always had a passion for driving innovation and excellence in Project Management and have been enamoured with the complexities of people management. I have a solid foundation in telecommunications, infrastructure (Civil, Electrical, Communications) and urban development.

I'm particularly proud of my experience in establishing PMO governance protocols, ethical standards, and quality assurance and control criteria as well as leading various telecommunication equipment rollouts. I've also had the opportunity to lead project teams in developing technical specifications that met stringent ISO standards, ensuring the highest level of quality and compliance. So the next time you make a call on your cell remember me, unless its Starlink.

Currently, I'm a self-employed project manager assisting educational institutions and have become quite intrigued with the academic side of PM. Now at last after all these years I am pursuing a BBA in International Business, an MBA, and a PMP certification to further enhance my skills and knowledge. Now that is more than enough about me, feel welcome to share. Have an awesome day.

Mahnoor Zafar Senior Executive BPR & PMO| Zong CMPak Ltd Islamabad, IS, Pakistan
Hi everyone! I'm Mahnoor Zafar, PMP Girl :) Currently working as Senior Executive BPR & PMO at Zong, Telecom company. I am just a big fan of Project Management and love to handle process improvements and projects all day at work. I will be moving from Pakistan to California by end of this year and its really makes me think how I am going to apply and nail a new job there. How is the corporate world there, a lot of doubts.

I love Agile Projects, because you can see the value in increments and it motivates you and all around you. It shows you that you are also small part of a big change that can help organisation grow.

I am an Electronic Engineer, started my career in IT department at wi-tribe, telecom company. I worked under the UK Minister (R) and have learnt that one tip. You can find a lot of technical people who can do the work for you as a subject matter expert but it's hard to find good managers and leaders because it takes time to build that portfolio. As you gain more experience, you grow and make others around you grow as well.
