Hello Everyone!

My name is Usama Zahoor, and I am currently working as an Assistant Project Manager specializing in construction and telecommunications projects in Lahore, Pakistan. I am also a Project Management Professional (PMP)®.

As a child, I always dreamed of becoming an engineer, driven by my fascination with how things are built and the process of bringing ideas to life. This passion led me to pursue civil engineering, and eventually, project management.

In terms of project management tools, I primarily use MS Project for scheduling and task management. I'm also keen to explore AI-driven project forecasting tools and other technologies that can enhance efficiency and help streamline project workflows.

I was drawn to project management because it allows me to blend technical expertise with leadership and strategic planning. What has kept me in this field is the ongoing challenge and satisfaction of managing complex projects, overcoming obstacles, and working with diverse teams to achieve successful results.

One of my proudest accomplishments was overseeing the USF Jhang Project and B2S rollouts, where I managed site supervision and coordination, ensuring successful project delivery on time, within budget, and in full compliance with quality and safety standards. Personally, I take great pride in achieving my PMP certification and continuously seeking new opportunities for growth in my field.

I’m Animesh Shanker, a Senior Process Trainer at Firstsource Solutions with over five years of experience in customer service, Learning and Development, and leading teams. Now, I’m excited to shift gears and dive into the world of project management.

Growing up, I didn’t dream of a single career. I wanted to create. Machines, software, food, music, movies—if I admired it, I wanted to build it. That curiosity has stuck with me, shaping my passion for learning and making meaningful contributions.

I learned German from A1 to B1 entirely on my own (yes, no classes!) and passed the B1 exam on my first attempt (Which is also my proudest achievement). Now I’m at B2.2, and it’s been an incredible journey connecting with people and cultures through language.

Some fun facts about me:

- Currently, I’m on a mission to master Six Sigma Green and Black Belts, with Agile next on the list.
- Tech and tools excite me—I’m well-versed in MS Office, dabbling in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and recently started exploring Python.
- My strongest skill? Being a lifelong learner, constantly curious about how the world works and finding ways I can help make it better.

Hi everyone. My name is Mustapha Ahmed ELY, and I currently work as a consultant specializing in judicial and penitentiary reforms, capacity building, and project management. With a wealth of experience in these areas, I have dedicated my career to enhancing the effectiveness and fairness of legal systems, particularly across African nations.
Growing up, I aspired to make a significant impact in the field of law and justice. My ambition was to ensure that the legal process was just and equitable for all individuals. This foundational dream paved the way for my extensive journey in public management and law, where I could work toward meaningful reform and improvement in the systems that govern society.
In my professional practice, I have come to favor several project management tools that enhance my productivity and project outcomes. I particularly enjoy utilizing Microsoft Project for planning and tracking, as it allows me to maintain clarity on project timelines and deliverables. Additionally, Trello has been instrumental for task management in team settings. I am also keen on learning more about Power BI to further harness data visualization capabilities in project management, which I believe could significantly enhance decision-making processes and stakeholder engagement.

My attraction to the project management industry stems from a deep-seated passion for driving change and improving institutional capacities. Project management provides me with a unique platform to contribute to critical reforms within the judiciary and public sectors. The ability to make a tangible difference in people’s lives and ensure the implementation of human rights practices has been a powerful motivator that keeps me engaged in this field.
 

Among my proudest accomplishments is overseeing successful reform initiatives in multiple African countries, which have led to improved justice systems and greater integration of human rights practices in judicial processes. Furthermore, authoring several influential publications in the fields of public management and law has been personally rewarding, as I’ve had the opportunity to share knowledge that contributes to the advancement of these critical areas.
