Replying to Eileen Mace
...

Greetings! I am Eileen Mace and am a Project Manager in the Retail Bank at Capital One. I have the best role as I execute projects while also being in a PMO where I set standards and coach/mentor other Project Managers. My projects are a blend of IT and business, which allows me to learn something new every day.

Growing up I was interested in becoming a Doctor, and even started my college career majoring in Athletic Training. In the back of my mind I knew I was more business savvy, and quickly learned that my love of sports and science was a hobby, not my passion.

My favorite PM tools are anything that allows me to communicate effectively. I think I can write a pretty succinct email and then tell a good joke in my team meeting.

The realization that the organizational, communication, and leadership skills that are innate to me can be valuable to bringing people together and creating something, are what keeps me involved in Project Mgmt.

I have worked on some pretty cool projects (online banking migration, removal of 100+ ATMs, building cafes, etc), but my proudest accomplishment is taking a risk and uprooting my life to take a chance at a Project Mgmt role I was scared I was underqualified for. It ended up changing my life by solidifying my passion for Project Mgmt, and allowed me to meet my husband and build a life and family I had only dreamed of. With the circus of my life right now, I am happy to be able to learn and contribute in this forum, and am looking forward to meeting you all!

Hi Eileen, welcome to PMI's online community! We're so glad you've joined us and look forward to learning from you as well.

Sandeep Damodaran Production Engineer| Metito Overseas Limited Dubai, DU, United Arab Emirates

Hi everyone! I’m Sandeep Damodaran, currently working as Production Engineer at Metito (Overseas) Ltd in Dubai, UAE. I recently earned my PMP certification and have a background in chemical engineering and supply chain operations with over 17 years of experience in plant management, production, and procurement.

As a kid, I dreamt of becoming a scientist or inventor, always curious about how systems work—something that eventually led me into the world of engineering and project management.

Some of my favorite tools include SIPOC diagrams, swimlane process maps, and Lean Six Sigma methods. I’ve also been exploring AI-powered project tools like PMI Infinity.

What drew me into project management is the structured problem-solving and the ability to bring cross-functional teams together to create tangible impact. What’s kept me in it is the constant learning and the satisfaction of optimizing complex processes—especially in fast-moving or regulated environments.

One of my proudest accomplishments has been mentoring new supervisors and students, and creating SOPs that improved operational consistency in chemical manufacturing settings. I also enjoy contributing to PMI’s volunteer initiatives focused on professional development and sustainability.

Natalia Tavares
PMI Team Member
Regional Head of Community, Latin America| Project Management Institute Sp, Brazil

-Tu nombre y tu puesto actual:
Natalia Tavares, Regional Head of Community para América Latina

My work focuses on strategic planning, project execution, and leadership alignment, enabling organizations to achieve sustainable growth while maintaining compliance and operational excellence.

When I was growing up, I dreamed of becoming a naturalist, a passion that still drives much of my work today. I’m actively involved in environmental stewardship, volunteering for organizations like the Desert Tortoise Council and advocating for sustainable project practices that protect natural habitats while supporting infrastructure development.

My favorite project management tools include ERPs (Deltek Vision), Microsoft Teams, Asana for task management, Smartsheet for collaborative project tracking, and GoHighLevel for CRM and automation. I’m always eager to learn about new technologies that streamline project workflows and improve team communication.

The opportunity to bring structure and clarity to complex projects, particularly those intersecting with environmental compliance and regulatory navigation, drew me to the project management industry. Seeing the tangible impact of well-executed projects—stronger teams, sustainable growth, and positive environmental outcomes has kept me in it.

My proudest professional accomplishment has been helping businesses scale sustainably while ensuring compliance and community impact. I’m proud of my volunteer work in wildlife conservation, which ties back to my early love for nature and stewardship.

Sam Eze, Jr. Lagos, La, Nigeria

Hi everyone! 👋

My name is Sam Eze, Jr., and I’m currently a Project Management Consultant, Trainer, and Founder of Rejeses PM Consulting, where I mentor aspiring and current project managers and deliver corporate training programs. I also recently partnered with a university to establish a Center for International Certifications focused on project management and business education.

When I was growing up, I actually wanted to be a pilot—the idea of soaring through the skies was fascinating. Funny how I ended up managing projects instead of flights!

Some of my favorite project management tools are Oracle Primavera P6, Jira, Microsoft Project, Trello. I’m also exploring AI-enhanced tools and automation to improve project tracking and reporting. Always keen to learn what’s new and effective.

What drew me into project management over 18 years ago was my love for bringing structure to chaos. I enjoy seeing ideas transform into tangible results. What’s kept me in the field is the impactful nature of the work—watching teams grow, businesses transform, and goals get achieved never gets old.

One of my proudest accomplishments was launching Rejeses PM Consulting and watching it grow from a personal passion into a platform that’s helping professionals build real project management careers. It’s been both humbling and rewarding.

Looking forward to learning from everyone here and sharing insights from the journey so far. Let’s connect!

MD FAHAD AL HASAN Engineer (Project Management)| APAG Electronics Windsor, ONTARIO, Canada

Hello PMI Community!

I'm excited to join this vibrant group of professionals and look forward to learning, sharing, and growing together.

My name is MD FAHAD AL HASAN, and I currently serve as a Project Quality Assurance & Control Inspector at APAG CoSyst in Windsor, Ontario. I bring over 9 years of project management and engineering experience, having successfully delivered 17+ local and international EPC and supply projects.

Growing up, I aspired to become an engineer, captivated by the idea of building complex systems that power the world. Project management became the natural extension of that passion - where strategy, leadership, and execution converge.

I'm well-versed in Microsoft Project, Primavera, MS Planner, AutoCAD, and Excel-based estimations, with growing interest in exploring Agile frameworks and tools like JIRA and Trello to further enhance collaboration and flexibility.
I’d also love to delve deeper into AI-powered project forecasting and risk management solutions!

The opportunity to drive change and deliver impactful solutions is what initially drew me in. What’s kept me here is the thrill of navigating complex challenges, leading high-performing teams, and seeing tangible results through structured execution.
Being at the intersection of engineering, leadership, and strategy is a fulfilling space.

Professionally, leading 16 cross-functional teams across international turnkey projects funded by global institutions like the World Bank, ADB, and JICA is a proud milestone.

On a personal level, earning the PMP® certification while managing full-time roles and global projects was a rewarding challenge that sharpened both my discipline and resilience.

Looking forward to connecting with fellow PMs—whether you're in tech, construction, energy, or consulting. Let’s exchange insights, stories, and support!
