Good morning everyone,
My name is Jamie and I am currently learning everything I can about project management as I want to transition into the profession. This stems from a couple of what I feel are my greatest accomplishments in my current job. I created, led, and completed a project of building a customer help system using office 365 to solve the issue of how we would effectively reach our customers and staff that are across the United States. At the time I did not know anything about project management. However, I started did work with a few in the process of testing and completing this project and I have been inspired ever since. I ended up becoming a SME for quite a few other projects with them as we mapped out and revamped the entire administrative processes now that the geographical area was so much more complicated.
If I followed my childhood dreams, I would have been a veterinarian. I do not think I would be a very good at this job, but it was fun to learn about in school projects growing up.
I look forward to learning and connecting with the community here.

Jared AlexisSr. Program Manager| AmazonSeattle, WA, United States
Hello everyone,
I am Jared, a Senior Program Manager at Amazon with extensive experience leading global technology and safety programs. Over the past decade I have guided complex projects from concept to launch while aligning cross functional teams, managing risk, and ensuring successful execution across the United States, Germany, Brazil, Japan, and other regions.
Early in my career I often found myself functioning as a project manager by default, coordinating people, schedules, and budgets to bring strategies to life. While I thrived in this environment I recognized the need for a standardized, globally recognized framework to make my approach more structured and scalable. That realization led me to earn the Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification.
The PMP process has sharpened my ability to plan, execute, and monitor projects with consistency and precision. I am excited to apply these tools to the complex, high impact programs I manage at Amazon and to continue growing as a leader in the global project management community.
My proudest achievements include shaping Amazon’s worldwide safety and expansion strategies and ensuring that new programs launch efficiently and securely. I look forward to connecting with fellow professionals in the PMI community and sharing knowledge to help deliver projects that create lasting value.

Hi, I'm Kate Gunther, currently a Project Manager for a General Contractor.
I wanted to be many things as a kid growing up: from a cancer researcher in the Amazon to an architect (I still have the drafting table my parents gifted me as a 9 year-old!)
-I'm a big fan of hybrid project management tools and embracing LEAN and TAKT into my projects with passion.
- My love for museums drew me to a degree in facilities management and then a family friend suggested I try out construction project management. I fell in love with managing projects, not just the physical buildings but also advocating / coaching team members.
- Proudest accomplishment are my children and spouse, with also having a piece of art I created featured in a museum as a close second. Saving Changes...
