Hopefully this is the right place to ask... I'm creating an online course for project management partially based on PMP framework. does anyone know how to qualify the course from PMI so that the students/learners can claim PDUs for it from the PMI? and additionally, how to calculate the PDUs for my course
P.S. The course is still in the making and hasn't been published yet, that is why i need to know the requirements of PMI to qualify the course. any online course creators here? Saving Changes...
For earning PDUs, there are no formal qualifications or pre-validation required by PMI. So long as the course covers PM topics, there is an agenda available, proof of completion by the learners, and something indicating the duration of the course in hours, that's sufficient.

Hi Sherif,
this source here might be helpful in your regards:
Hi Sherif, That would fall under self-study PDUs, I guess. That might be useful to mention that in a dedicated section of your curse.
Unless you meant to release a PMI authorized curse, but I am not sure how this procedure looks like. I guess you need to authorize the releser, not just the course.
Where do you plan to release it?

I have seen the process is quite long and costly to be ATP.
i am planning to release the course on Udemy
No, PMI does not require that course-based PDUs only are earned from courses offered by ATPs. Any company providing a formal course can offer PDUs so long as the course covers PM topics.
It is possible that PMI might challenge the PDU submission if the company and/or course are questionable, but this shouldn't be a concern for a legitimate offering.
