Thank you for sharing, Rami. This is an interesting approach that shows a 360 view of what AI can do for the profession. For me, the challenge is how we start making actionable approaches to these concepts (this is the reason for this thread :-). After exploring Copilot and other AI assistants it seems that they are already integrating aspects of predictive analytics, communication, generative design... improving our daily tasks and leading imperceptibly towards a complete transformation of the way we understand work. Which are your thoughts?

Thank you, Rami, for this trend of engaging discussion - it enlightened my academic mind.

Our firm conducted a pilot study and is just now rolling out AI usage for our project work. The IT Dept is providing parameters for usage and upskilling is in its infancy firmwide.

Claudia, this is a great question. However, given the nature of what we do as consultants, we haven't yet started preparing for this but would be very interested to see what other professionals and organizations are doing!

Personally, anytime I need an answer or a shortcut. 😀

I see strong potential in using LLMs to enhance the analysis of structured data derived from Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), which are often powerful tools for effective project control.

I have been using AI for capturing minutes of meeting in online meetings. Which I find very useful to consolidate all the points discussed during the meeting. Have now started to use AI during different project phases to get familiar with AI & reduce the time devoted earlier by doing everything by myself.

Working with technology to create a robust AI governance policy in conjunction with legal counsel. An educational institution poses different concerns around the appropriate way to deploy AI across the classroom, faculty, and staff areas of work.

Hi Claudia, Great question but hard to answer in specific terms. In my opinion, adaptation to AI involves stakeholders who are beyond the reach of Project Managers. Even if the implementation of AI at project level or program level, most of us still handicapped to reach out and obtain necessary persmission.

I guess we are reaching a level that we will be compelled to use AI for reasons like competitive advantage and better customer satisfaction. Thanks for reading thus far.
