The Data Landscape for GenAI course has been so insightful! As a Project Management Professional it would crazy to not notice the incoming influence of the Artificial Intelligence insights that will be at its peak in less than 2 years at a whopping 75% estimated implementation worldwide by 2027.

As professionals, we should do OUR part to ensure quality information are driving GPTs data with removal of unnecessary biases. This technology has massive potential to automate, assist, and augment our work and our future quality of life.

Not there yet. However, as a Consultant, we realized that a number of our clients in the construction industry have demonstrated interest in accessing checklists for i) common post construction defects on similar type projects;ii) common criteria in comparing quality of standard building materials from various suppliers during Procurement. These are 2 areas that we want to use Chat GPT to better support our clients

One of the key documents we refer to is the PromptEngineeringGenAI guide, which provides comprehensive protocols for prompt engineering and best practices for working with Generative AI models

1
. This guide helps us in crafting effective prompts and understanding the nuances of AI-generated content.

Additionally, we have a training plan that includes sessions on GitHub Copilot, covering topics such as configuration, coding best practices, prompt engineering, and secure coding

2
. This training ensures that our team is well-prepared to leverage AI tools effectively.

We also participate in hackathons and workshops, such as the one organized by Microsoft, which focuses on accelerating development with GitHub Copilot

3
. These events provide hands-on experience and foster collaboration among team members, helping us stay updated with the latest advancements in AI technology

Looks like I'm a few years behind, but I'm very interested to see how our organization could take advantage of this technology. No applications have been implemented as of yet, but the discussions are underway.

I hope to use GenAI in developing project risk identification tools. Checklists would be one potential tool.

Only using the general tools at present to craft and enhance language for tasks, descriptions and communications. Some initiatives to bring into the workflow, but still early days.

We have not implemented any checklists, but we are working to determine how using GenAI can increase our PMOs efficiency and effectiveness while launching new projects. We do however us GenAI for other areas within our company.
